FAQ

(Frequently Asked Questions)

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance, but I’m happy to create a “superbill” for clients upon request. Many insurance plans include out-of-network benefits and may reimburse you directly for a percentage of your session fee, as outlined in your policy. Full payment for all services is due at the time of your appointment. Your payment method will be securely stored with a HIPAA-compliant third-party provider and charged automatically.

How much do you charge?

My current session fee is:

$150 for 50-minute sessions

$245 for 90-minute sessions

What is your cancellation policy?

I maintain a 48-hour cancellation policy.

48-hour notice = no charge
Less than 48-hour notice = full rate charged
No show = full rate charged

Do we meet in person or over telehealth?

For your convenience and to accommodate more clients, I primarily conduct sessions via telehealth. However, I do offer a limited number of 1:1 in-person sessions in Longmont, CO.

I don’t live in Colorado—can we work together?

I cannot provide psychotherapy to individuals who are not residents of Colorado. If you’re out of state and need help finding a therapist, “Psychology Today” is an excellent search tool for connecting with licensed professionals in your area. It includes filters to help you refine your search based on your specific needs.

You offer “nature therapy,” but what is it?

“Nature therapy” or “ecotherapy” is an evidence-based approach that takes place in an outdoor natural setting and often involves a hike combined with awareness practices. I offer this as an adjunct to traditional indoor sessions when weather permits. It’s a grounding way to enhance therapy, shift perspective, and reduce stress. Depending on the location, a small agreed-upon travel fee may be added to my standard rate.
